THE GOLDEN BOOK in Djibouti

TARGET held a successful conference on the GOLDEN BOOK on 6 September 2009 in Djibouti, the capital of the country in the Horn of Africa bearing the same name.

Sultan Abdelkader Humad and the Muslim spiritual leaders already by and large understood TARGET’s concept since many of them had participated in TARGET’s conference in Addis Ababa (2009). In addition TARGET held a desert conference in Djibouti in 2004. The scholars in Djibouti declared that for them female genital mutilation is a sin. Distribution of the GOLDEN BOOK will commence in 2010.
